This semester, the College Avenue Magazine Photo Desk is pushing its technical skills to the next level. During the photoshoot for the cover of College Avenue’s second print edition surrounding the topic of food,  Skyler and I played with light, color, texture, and most notably prospective, to produce the images displayed below. Shooting photos through a plexiglass table, we were able to see food from angles we had never seen before and highlight the translucence of certain vegetables. Food photography is a wonderful way to regain creativity and practice your photography skills. For any creatives out there looking to stoke their artistic flare, food photography is a great option.
