The Colorado State University Future Cowboy event was held at CSU Spur this year during the National Western Stock show. This event included speakers, beef and bison tasting, and a leather fashion show. The Future Cowboy Fashion show was a student-produced event by the apparel design and merchandising students. The event’s theme, according to their website, is “defining future cattlemen and cattlewomen at the center of Colorado’s beef industry.” The event is a celebration of the role of cattle in food and fashion showing how fashion, science, and food can tie together sustainably.
